Closer to a Nile crocodile you cannot get!
You get to ‘free dive’ and swim with these majestic creatures! All our prehistoric gems were born in captivity in the Western Cape at a Crocodile breeding farm! Boasting 5 of the largest Nile crocodiles in South Africa! We work hand in hand with Cape Nature to ensure a perfect living space for our animals and our dedicated crocodile veterinarian keeps them healthy and happy with regular checks. No chemicals added to our pond, we run an eco-pool filtration system, you will share a completely natural pond with our Crocodile. We also have a few indigenous fish species in the pond to keep our Crocs company.

CROCODILE POND TOURS
For those wanting to keep their hair dry, our crocodile pond tours are designed for you! You can view the crocs from a safe distance, with our tour guide, who will take you through the enclosure for a fun and active croc pond tour! We boast an amazing underwater viewing cave where you can see the crocodiles swim up close and an overhead walkway from where you can observe these beautiful creatures. Crocodile pond tours run from Tuesday – Sunday on the hour from 11:00am – 16:00pm. R60 per adult and R30 per child under 12 years. Pond tours are open daily during school holidays. An experience you will never forget
Afrikanos is a crocodile sanctuary offering unique interactive croc-diving and viewing experiences, as well as a trendy onsite restaurant and bar. Located just outside Gansbaai in the Overberg, Afrikanos is home to five of South Africa’s largest captive-bred Nile crocodiles. At Afrikanos, man and crocodile meet eye-to-eye in an all-natural and safe swimming environment separated only by a strong, world-first, stainless steel net! If taking a dip with crocs is not on your bucket list then you can view them from a safe distance, while joining a fun educational tour of the pond. The Afrikanos restaurant and cocktail bar is open for brunch, lunch and dinner, with amenities that include indoor and outdoor seating, and a play area for the kids.
